Making Akwa Ibom the destination
Other components of the project which sits on 82 hectares of land are:

- A 14-storey, five-star hotel with 250 exquisite rooms, comprising 141 King Rooms; 107 twin rooms and two rooms for disabled guests. The hotel, which is nearing completion, has a total floor area of about 19, 552 square meters, and is to be operated by Hilton Garden Inn.

The dry park will have 16 rides, such as bumper cars, kiddies’ wheel, merry-go-round, mini jet, mini pirate ship, magic mouse, Looney Tooter, etc. The wet park is a wet pool, tube and body slides, kiddies’ pool, as well as a lazy river, all for use by children.
Le Meridien Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort
The Le Meridien Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort is a five-star hotel. At the time Governor Godswill Akpabio assumed leadership of the state, it had only 50 rooms completed. The Akpabio administration completed 120 additional rooms, to bring the total to 170.
The hotel has an inviting ambience; is located near a seafront on a plateau and is bordered by lush-green vegetation that offers the perfect setting for leisure and relaxation. It has a restaurant that serves intercontinental dishes; a well-stocked bar with choice drinks; swimming pools for children and adults; Jacuzzis; a walkout facility; conference facilities, among others.
The hotel is a choice conference and retreat facility in Nigeria, and has hosted more national conferences, seminars and workshops than any single facility in the country in the last three years. In an effort to bring the hotel in line with its counterparts in different parts of the world, the Akpabio administration shut down its golf course in 2008 for grass re-planting and upgrade of the 18-hole course. The result was a brand new golf course that got rated in 2010 as the best in Africa by Golf Weekly, the world’s leading golf magazine.
